British Base Police are seeking help from the public to investigate a murder committed 23 years ago, on July 25, 1998, on Lady's Mile Beach.
The case of the stabbing death of Michalis Savvas Evangelos, then 25, has reopened and police hope the new methodology, including improved DNA tests and fingerprints, will lead to an arrest.
The Senior Lieutenant of the BB, Panikos Panagi, who is leading the police investigation, said:
"On the anniversary of the murder that took place 23 years ago, we appeal to anyone who has information.
All information will be treated with great confidentiality and we hope to find the person responsible, in order to offer some relief to the family of the deceased ".
