The presence and gatherings of persons in homes and public gathering places in the province of Larnaca should not exceed 10 people per home / group, including minors, according to the decree of the Minister of Health published today in the Official Gazette of the Republic, with immediate effect, for the measures taken especially in the province of Larnaca, due to the epidemiological data presented in it, to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
In particular, according to this, with the exception of Larnaca airport and port and restaurants, the presence and gatherings of persons in homes and in public gathering places, do not exceed 10 people per home / group, including minors ∙
Also the ecclesiastical and other forms of religious worship in churches, mosques and other religious places, as well as religious ceremonies, are performed according to the guidelines of the Ministry of Health, with a maximum number of persons of 75 people.
The holding of games in sports facilities of Larnaca Province in the context of sports championships is allowed without the presence of spectators, in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health and the Cyprus Sports Organization.
According to the decree, it is not allowed to detain more than ten (10) people per table in restaurants, according to the guidelines of the Ministry of Health, while the maximum number of persons in cinemas, theaters and theaters indoors and outdoors is set at guidelines of the Ministry of Health.
Also, the training and competitions of athletes under 18 in all team sports and events as well as the conduct of afternoon sports activities organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth, in the provinces of Larnaca and Famagusta, are governed by instructions issued by the Ministry of Health.
